Pampers Pacifiers Recalled by Key Baby Due to Choking Hazard (April 5, 2011) WASHINGTON,
D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a
voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately
unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of
Product: Pampers® Natural Stages Infant Ortho and Bulb Pacifiers Units: About 29,000 Importer: Key Baby LLC, of
Lutz, Fla. (Note: Pampers® licensed their brand name to Key Baby). Manufacturer: Tahoe Enterprises, of China.
Hazard: The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards and pose a choking hazard to young children.

Lasko Recalls Box Fans Due To Fire Hazard (March 24, 2011) WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S.
Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of
the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise
instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Box fans.
Units: About 4.8 million units. Manufacturer: Lasko Products Inc., of West Chester, Pa. Hazard: An electrical
failure in the fan's motor poses a fire hazard to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: Lasko has received seven reports
of fires associated with motor failures, including two house fires and one barn fire, resulting in extensive

IKEA Recalls Coffee/Tea Makers Due to Burn and Laceration Hazards (March 3, 2011)
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, in cooperation with the firm
named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using
recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled
consumer product. Name of Product: FÖRSTÅ Coffee/Tea Makers. Units: About 94,000 in the U.S. and 34,000 in Canada.
Distributor: IKEA Home Furnishings, of Conshohocken, Pa. Hazard: Pressure from the metal pot holder against the

Burlington Coat Factory Recalls Slow Cookers Due to Fire Hazard (March 2, 2011) WASHINGTON,
D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a

Product: Slow Cooker Units: About 7,460. Retailer: Burlington Coat Factory, of Burlington, N.J. Hazard: The slow

SafetyCraft "Generation 2 Worldwide" Drop-Side Cribs Pose Risks of Strangulation,
Suffocation (February 3, 2011) WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
is warning consumers that "SafetyCraft" brand full-size and portable drop-side cribs manufactured or distributed by
Generation 2 Worldwide of Dothan, Alabama, contain drop-side hardware that appears to be identical to Generation 2
Worldwide ChildESIGNS brand drop-side cribs recalled in February 2010. This hardware found on SafetyCraft drop-side
cribs can fail and place infants and toddlers at risk of strangulation and suffocation. CPSC staff urges parents
and caregivers to stop using these cribs immediately and find an alternative, safe sleeping environment for their

Counterfeit Pesticide Products for Dogs and Cats (Years 2010 & 2011) EPA, in
cooperation with its state and regional regulatory partners, is announcing the issuance of stop sale, use, and
removal orders to retailers and other distributors of certain counterfeit pesticide products for control of fleas
and ticks on dogs and cats. The stop sale, use, and removal orders are intended to disrupt an effort to distribute

Kroger Recalls Pet Foods Due to Possible Health Risk December 18, 2010 - The Kroger Co.
said today it is recalling select packages of Pet Pride, Old Yeller & Kroger Value pet food sold in some of its
retail stores because the products may contain aflatoxin, which poses a health risk to pets. Kroger stores in the following states are included in this recall: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois,
Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee,

Lawsuit Seeks Final Rule on ‘Antibacterial’ Chemicals After 32-Year Delay NRDC Wants a Deadline for FDA
to Issue Long Overdue Public Health Protection WASHINGTON (July 27, 2010) -- The Natural Resources
Defense Council filed a lawsuit today against the Food and Drug Administration for failing to issue a final rule
regulating the chemicals triclosan and triclocarban, which are commonly found in antibacterial soaps. These
chemicals are suspected endocrine disruptors linked to reproductive and developmental harm in laboratory studies.
NRDC filed today’s lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. “Washing your hands
with so-called antibacterial soap containing triclosan or triclocarban actually does nothing different than using
